Online Bullying is the idea I really want to stick with. At first I took some pictures of gloved hands with technology (computer, cell phone). Then I took some more "wonderful" and obvious hand pictures...I know they're getting old, but here's my thought process: The first picture is just a hand, so a person before they started bullying. Then it's the nice glove, which is like they're just starting, and it's kind of a joke. Then it's a ratted up glove, which is like they're becoming more of a bully and it's messing them up. The last one is the burnt up gross glove, which is how bullying leaves them.

Layers
So, I was trying to think of other ideas for my book, and tried to take pictures according to those ideas. One of them was "layers," so I put on a few layers of gloves and mittens and took pictures of each one. I tried doing it as I was taking the gloves off, but since I was home alone I couldn't find anyone to use as a hand model. Then I left a trail of taken off gloves, showing like "peeling layers."
Then I went back to "the perfect fit" idea, and instead of using different gloves, I used my pet and put it on other objects. It would end up finding a hand, but throughout the book it would be trying on different objects, until it found the perfect one...that kind of an idea.
Then I thought of a glove as an accessory, so I accessorized my glove.
Then I thought of anonymity. People use gloves on crime scenes to ensure their identity won't be found. I didn't really want to create a crime scene, so I decided to say something "mean" to someone via text message, wearing the glove, showing it was anonymous. People hide behind technology to bully all the time.
Then I took a picture of myself covering my mouth, like the glove was hiding a secret.
I'm not sure how I feel about any of these ideas. I kind of like the bullying one, but we'll see.

"The Perfect Fit"
As I was trying to figure out what I should do for the second part of this project, I thought that doing something about "The Perfect Fit" would be good. Like what job is right for you, what school is right for you, what major is right for you based on interests, something along those lines. So first, I had 5 different people put on the original "pet" glove that I was given, and then I had them put on different gloves. If I want to do this I think I'll have to find more different styled gloves--like frilly, gardening, super thick, super thin, different colors, etc.

Experimenting with Fire
Okay, not really, but I did play around with a stove burner, and I discovered that if you put a little black glove on a hot burner, it will smell terrible and your glove will shrivel up like a raison. Sure, it looks kinda cool, but the smell is not even close to worth it. Also, if you put the glove on after you burn it, it makes your hand smell really weird.
I also learned that even if you're wearing a glove, if you hold your hand 2 inches away from a hot burner on high, it will still feel like you've burnt your hand.
I have learned some pretty valuable life lessons.

Week Two Photos
This week I had some trouble thinking of anything beyond what first popped into my head, so unfortunately, this is all I was able to come up with.
Kind of a fun angle.
